Error after new start

Post by Wim2008 »

This morning I have install some new windows xp updates. After the install I let do a new startup of the windows xp and the Homeseer software.
But I got an error in the connection with RFXcom. See picture below.
I have restart the computer and Windows a second time, but there is no different in the error.

Do someone knows what there is wrong?
Can someone say how I can solve this?

The problem is solved. Powerline and ethernet lines are disconnected for a short time. After reconnecting the problem was solved. Thanks to Bert Weijenberg for his advice and his patience for me.
Everything is working well now.

Why this error come into being, I don't know.

After a new update I got the same problem with RFXcom in Homeseer as last month.
Can someone say what is going wrong in my system or in Homeseer? Below a file of the copy of the errors.
But now the advice to disconnect the the RFXcom don't work anymore.

I use windows xp and Homeseer version 2.5.0.52 and in homeseer the plugin of RFXcom version 14.0.0.62

The receiver is on port 10001 and the transmitter on port 10002.
have you configured the ports correct?

I think so. See the file below. I have made a copy with the CPR Manager.
You will see that the com ports 10 and 11 are connected with the receiver and the transmitter.
Isn't it so?

Don't use COM ports but assign the IP address in the RFXCOM plug-in.
remove CPR from the system!
