Recently I started with my own Domotica project.
The setup I started with is a Raspberry Pi with a RFXCOM USB receiver (RFXtrx433). Setup was easy, but now I’ve a problem with my WIFI connection.
I use my router, a Linksys WRT160N, also for my wireless network. All my wireless devices loses and reconnects the connection the whole time. When I disconnect the RFXCOM receiver, my wireless connection is good again.
It makes no difference when I place my raspberry and rfxcom at the other side of my house.
I changed the wireless channel in the router, but this makes also no difference.
Is there someone who knows what the problem is?
Thanks in advance...

Re: WIFI problems when RFXCOM connected
What happens if you disconnect the Raspberry PI and leave the RFXtrx433 connected to the RPI?
Re: WIFI problems when RFXCOM connected
Yesterday I resetted my router to factory default, problem still exists.
I'll continu testing and looking for the cause...

Re: WIFI problems when RFXCOM connected
How do you power up the RaspberryPI ? (power from router?)
I have had usb issue when using a powersupply from supplier 1 and not with the one for supplier 2. Maybe you just don`t have enough power for both the WIFI dongle (i asume u are using a dongle) and the RFXcom unit. I bought a 12v/3A usb hub to solve this issue
And as a logic follow up your router is either rebooting do to power issues, or you wifi gets jammed by the PI, Does this issue also occur when you connect the RFXcom to you laptop/pc ?

Running HS3PRO on PC with Z-Wave / OpenTherm / Plugwise / RFXcom / MQTT / XAP400 / Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite on PI`s

The problem didn't appear the last couples of days, really strange...
Maybe it was a coincidence that the problems started when I started with my RaspberryPi
