RFXLan V2 vs V3

Post by Romac »

On this forum (domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=15& ... amp;t=9384) is a RFXLan v2 for sale, but wonder what the differences are between v2 and the current v3. Who can help clear up the differences. Searching the net brings up no results.

RFXLAN V2 and V3 are functional identical. The main difference is that the receiver and transmitter are installed in sockets while in V3 they are integrated on the main board.

So both can be flashed with XPL or TCP firmware?

The older RFXCOM LAN interface with Lantronix controller cannot be flashed with xPL firmware.

The RFXLAN V2 and V3 can be flashed with TCP/IP or xPL firmware.
