Dx rgb controllers

Post by Momomx3v6 »

I have both dx.com rgb controllers.

The

http://dx.com/p/rf-remote-touch-rgb-controller-130913
And the

dx.com/p/wireless-touch-panel-remote-co ... ight-67412

How can I find the right code to use the controller?

And, the first one must be learnable, do somebody know how this works? There is no learn button on the controller!

A new TRC02 is sold. It has the same type but a different protocol.

Firmware version 230 for the RFXtrx433E supports both now.
See also the RFXtrx User Guide how to find the ID's.

I have the Rfxtrx433 not the rfxtrx433e
Is it possible to find the code with the rfxtrx433?

I try everything with the new firmware!
The trxmngr find nothing at al.
Try all the protocols.
On the other one it get some codes on the lightning4 protocol.

091300003a9d42015e60
Packet type=lightning 4
Subtype=pt2262
Sequence nbr=0
S1- s24= 0011 1010 1101 0100 0010
Pulse = 350 user
Signal level =6

The other strange ting, with ad/lightwaveRF on in the trxmngr it don't find a signal
If I turn the ad/lightwaveRF and the arc on, it find this

0a1402710753a802000060
Packet type=lightning 5
Sub type= bbsb new
Id= 0753a8
Unit=2
Command=off
Signal level=6

And the most buttons show an another code.

It drives me a little crazy :-(

Please use the latest version of RFXmngr!

------------------------------------------------
091300003A9D42015E60
Packettype = Lighting4
subtype = PT2262
Sequence nbr = 0
Code = 3A9D42
S1- S24 = 0011 1010 1001 1101 0100 0010
Pulse = 350 usec
Signal level = 6

Note: TRC02_2 is only supported by the RFXtrx433E

Hello Bert,

It’s a bit confusing about the controller

http://www.dx.com/p/rf-remote-touch-rgb ... HBoGvmG_Qg

Witch controller is using witch RFXtrx

You have 2 types of remote’s 1 with 2 batt
And 1 with 3 batt.
I have the one witch 3 Batteries and the RFXtrx without the E

Thanks Ed.

Ed,

I guess the controller in your link is OK but.....

I have had now 3 times that the same order code had a different protocol and they also delivered a product with a different type.
I ordered for example a WT0122 water temp sensor (SKU: 189750). The picture clearly indicates WT0122 but they delivered a KG122 which is using a totally different protocol.
I stop implementing dx.com products for this reason.

I bought an another rgb controller,
Got one with 3 batteries, and it displays the code a731 and there is no A7 code in the list in the rfxmngr :-(

Does that mean i can not use this rgb controller with the rfxcom?

The other one works just fine!
