three Chan protocol

Post by koen01 »

Is this protocol supported by the 433mhz e usb transceiver?
http://wiki.pilight.org/doku.php/threechan

If not, is it possible to support it in the future?
I'm willing to send raw dumps etc.

Can't reply to the pm.
But the sensor is the one that came with this station.

In pilight it works with the threechan protocol for temp, humidity and battery level.
The pilight alecto protocol only works for temp.

The Alecto WS1700 and compatible protocol is added in the RFXtrx433E firmware version 232.
Enable the Rubicson protocol to receive this sensor.

Drawback for this sensor type is that it does not have a checksum byte and you will receive sometimes wrong values as a result of a bad RF packet!
Use this type of sensor only for temp/hum display and not for control of heating or ventilation.
