'new' project: www.neomess.nl

Post by neomess »

For some time (over a year already) I've been following some of the websites mentioned here and ofcourse this forum.
I have gotten some great ideas out of this, and since I'm a web developer I thought it would be a nice hobby to start my own project.

So I bought some cheap sensors and camera's, and added all my old smart phones and turned them into IP cams. Since some weeks I feel that the site is ready ready enough for showing to other people then my own friends.

I'm ready for positive and of course also negative feedback.

UPDATE
Its working again, just very bad timing for my server to give me some troubles after i had to reboot to relocate it to another room in my house.

cool stuff. Bwired 2.0 :-)
just kidding.

one tiny little thing: I feel there should be some space below the big header. And what's the map displaying?

and I might have crashed your site? Because I first got some mysql error and now the site has stopped responding altogether.

its working again, was a very bad timing for my windows to crash because i had to relocate my server to another part of my house.

Good idea to put some header above the map to make it clear that this is my phone tracking. (some as bwired but made it myself)

The mobile phones are still intact, i see no use to pull them apart since it all functions now.

Very soon i will get my second outdoor foscam camera, then i will use my mobile phones more for indoor surveillance.

@neomess

I saw on your website (very nice one) that you also use a Foscam FI8905W with Domoticz.

Can you tell me what the Image URL is for this camera.

I can't get it working with Domoticz. I tried a lot of URL's that i find for the Foscam but non working.
Camera is working fine with Synology NAS and standalone but now want to add it in Domoticz and can't get it working.

Tried:
http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Camera_Setup
http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=foscam

Update
Found it: URL: snapshot.cgi?user=#USERNAME&pwd=#PASSWORD
