Hi all,

I just noticed that the forum surpassed 2.000.000 page views today and will probably welcome its 1.000.000th visitor sometime tomorrow...

Just thought it would not be something to leave unnoticed.

@Pieter: thanks for the initiative, which is clearly a success!

Thanks Lennart!
I was just mailing somebody about the statistics :-) telling also that Domotica Home Automation is growing rapidly lately.
And those 1 million visitors are mainly unique visitors, you can check that by refreshing the page and look at the Counter.
Almost 700 members now, let see when member 1000 comes online.

Pieter, how do you measure this? On IP address basis?
If so, then quite a few of us are counted multiple times.....[8D]
But even so, congratulations!!

Yes you right, once you close the session and open a new session again it's one count.
So during the session, if you browse around for like hours it's one count.
Often you see websites counting even when you refresh the page in the same session.
But still a lot :-)

That's for sure!
For my website i have a 'unique IP' counter that also looks at the X-Forwarded-for headers to count as accurate as possible. But then, it's only machines that is being counted, not people :-)

Ok, well I count for at least 10 of those then, still moving around in the US. And at home sometimes via VPN, which means to the US and back on another unique IP address.

But it is mostly the same people reading and replying all the time anyway.
