Installation of Zenah

No problem, although i still think the catalyst issue could be solved. Either way, you should be able to get it working without any manual cpan installations. I got it to work wit only apt-gets.. so it is possible.

The catalyst problem has maybe to do with 2 issues.
first is the "make" building thing, that checks on a version.
I run now Catalyst 5.7012, and it expected:
Catalyst ...missing. (would need 5.64)

Next thing, it complained about:
Weak references are not implemented in the version of perl at /usr/share/perl5/Catalyst.pm line 22

google at Weak referen...... I saw someone did:
http://dewarim.de/wms/programme/weak_references.html

so, tried: force install Scalar::Util
and al of a sudden the web-frontend works. Dunno how.

I'm very curious on how you've glued the things together as I'm using also:
debian-stable as main, and others in vmware.
dreambox
lan-rfxcom
visonic alarm system
oregon-scientific rf weightscale
klick-on-off stuf
and starting with x10 components to control/dim lightning.
but that's stuff for an other thread :)

i made small piece for the dreambox also, for xpl. So you can send messages to it, and read out the current channel / info.

But i do use unstable, perhaps thats is the difference. I like the latest stuff, and normally i never have issues with it.
I dont have all things glued together since its a work in progress. But this is the only tool/program which has the potential to glue everything together. The rfxcom / dreambox / visionic you can glue already. The scale needs a change in code for the receiver part (but not that hard) anyway, perhaps better if we continue on a new thread for niceness :)

Overlooked it, didn't work with it yet. There is some support for the sender of rfxcom. Check the file xpl-rfxcom-trans, its the sender portion for rfxcom. If you want to make something for it, continue on that :)
