After installing my RGB strips I noticed a lot of flicker when dimming.
I have measured it and it is around 80 hz. It gets more and more when you dim down. I guess it has to do with the multiplexing but my Warm White strip also has it a bit. It makes it more or less unusable in a living space for me.
My led controllers are: http://www.ledtuning.nl/catalog/product ... cts_id=420 (DMX512)
I am curious of other LED controlers have the same. (DMX and non DMX)

I am not familiar with this on the chromoflex with led stripes.
If you would like to test or it is the controller or stripes, i got one chromoflex laying (3x2.5A) in sloterdijk.

Yes Robin please Next week somewhere? Is the Chromoflex manually to control?

Not a problem,
Controlling it manual is only possible for the programms that are pre set. Like moodlight, flash, fireplace...
With a ir eye and a philips tv remote it can be. I will try to have the ir eye with it and else a rs232 connector.

Else, the limited functions you can control via IR (aka starting one of the 8 presets) can also be done via the button inputs on the CF. One of the colorcycling or colorfading presets should give you an idea of the 'dimming' capabilities of the Chromoflex. (it doesn't really dim perse, just the color values are lowered)
