led strip, alu mounting strips

i am planing to use some ledstrip decorative lighting in our house.
i have some ledstrips,....but what to use to mount them.
i have seen some alluminum mount strip with an plastic cover.
who can tell me what best to use.

Where do you want to mount it?
How do you want to light an object, wall or ...?

i am thinking of licht line along the celing, where the wall meets the celing.
it has to be a little defuse light.
the celing we have in this part of the house is a
(systeem plavond)

You mean something like this?
Here I didn't have to use a plastic cover to make the light more diffuse:

It's a matter of distance and the surface on which the light is shining.
You can always apply the aluminum strip with diffuser afterwards, if the result is not satisfactory; or try a small length before you decide what to do.

I have Ledstrip embedded in a plastered ceiling which is done with Alu U-shaped strip that comes with a diffusion cover.
I did that in the bathroom as shown here:

As you can see this works out pretty well, I think the type of solution you are looking for is gonna require a similar solution.

Where did you buy the alu strips?
Are they made for it, or is it your own design?
