installation TSU9600

Post by Peter Mosselveld »

Just bought the TSU9600, but I don't know how to instal my A/V.
Can't find them in the datatbase.
Is there anyone who will help me (I will pay you for help). I live in the neighbourhood of Amsterdam. I tried the helpdesk ... but this controler is too complex for the helpdesk >
I was told to look for a specialist.
So I hope to find someone here who will help me.

try www.remotecentral.com they have lots of examples. From there on you can create / make your own. And if you really cant find the a/v stuff you can always learn the codes via the tsu9600.

Specialist costs $$$$ , will ask for high amounts for simple stuff. The only thing you need to do is put some time in it. Also you need some logic, and if your not really into pc's/software and stuff you should have gone for a logitech perhaps.

Thanks Snelvuur,

Still I can't find my Philips Aurea flatscreen (42PFL9900D) and my Humax IPVR-9200C
decoder. Also tried to learn the codes > not succesfull.

Maybe you would like to help me ? I will pay you.
Buying a Logitech is not an option > I bought the TSU on Marktplaats, second handed.

Most tv's are the same with philips, if you take for instance anything which starts with roughly the same number then i think you allready have a lot of functions availible.

I had the same issues, no reply's in the beginning (http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... ad.cgi?757)

Then when i wanted more i asked the philips guys, which gave me a document which shows the codes for any model. Just use the following document: http://files.binkey.nl/Manuals/Pronto/R ... ontrol.doc

It will show you all the codes you need, you only need to create those if you really want everything to work. With this document i got almost everything to work with it. The only issue i still have left is that i have a discrete code to go on, but i dont have a discrete code to go off. But i can live with that, since "on" is the important one.

p.s. for some reason i cant open the file but that might be because i have a old word version.. if you cant let me know and i'll fix it tonight.

But i will be more then happy to build a custom setup for the friendly price of only 1 Aurea :-)

I think in your case you just need a push in the correct direction, i didn't get it to work 1.2.3. either.
