Check http://www.pronto.philips.com/index.cfm?id=1635 for more info.

There are some major changes, issues etc. so visiting
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... o/list.cgi before upgrading is a good thing to do.

quick look:
User interface is completely different, also the way it handles learned codes.
It looks good but the 'expanded' device database still doesn't have any of my missing devices :-(
Better simulator with resizing.
It runs stable on Vista32.

From the help file:
With this 2.0 release, we have radically redesigned ProntoEdit Professional. As it is "designed by installers, made by Philips", we have catered to the needs of the custom install professional:

ProntoEdit Professional 2.0 is now entirely activity-based.

UI programming and component set-up have been split, improving the structure and re-use of projects. This provides an elegant alternative for the hidden code pages and links methodology of the 1.0 version.

As a result of this new structure, the efficiency of the drag & drop functionality has increased immensely. You can now drag & drop all the elements you need where you need them.

Enver,
Could you tell more about what kind of errors, are they fixable? or did the import just stop?

The new interface looks okay...but I don't see what it will bring extra...

I hope they will upgrade the firmware with WPA and WPA2 support

You're right Enver, Philips has to get rid of WEP, that's much more important then a PEP v2 that seems to have problems with learned IR codes...[V]
