can rfxcom receive x10 over powerline?

Post by suddenly_ike »

I recently purchased an rfxcom dual receiver and transmitter.
Everything works fine. I can acces my KAKU devices and also receive the status of my visionic sensors.

I now am interested in receving the status of my powermax pro alarm panel (from Nuon Beveiliging).
I have it connected to a xm10 ttl interface, which should send the x10 signals over the powerline.

Can I receive these signals from the powerline with the rfxcom receiver? Or do I need an additional pc interface (cm15)

RFXCOM is only for RF, not for powerline; so you need additional hardware: CM15, CTX35, PMIX35 etc.
