Hi to everyone,
I tried the domotiga software on pc linux and i like it.
I would to create from my self my house domotic system but i need your suggestion for it.
First of all:
I need an hardware low consuption. what you would suggest?
second:
Only for light i need 40 channel relays board. Have you any experience about which products to buy?
third:
I would to connect the magnetics sensors of windows to pc for integrate it on allarm and climate enviroment. Which type of hardware I could use to do it?

this is my first questions and i thank you if you can help me on my ambicious project .

I lot of people are using Raspberry Pi, but the PcDuino is more powerfull (http://www.domotiga.nl/projects/domotiga/wiki/PcDuino). The choice is up to you, because remember - lower power hardware is slower and can run less things.

Where do you need such 40 relay thingie for? For sensors is Z-Wave a good choice to go for.
