Are there other options for the Saft LS14500 battery used in the wireless modules from plugwise (sense and scan)
the Original Saft LS14500 are not the the cheapest battery's.

Yeah, that's a bit of a design flaw. I have asked a few online battery suppliers, but apparently there are no (rechargeable) alternatives.
