Current power dropping to zero

Post by Bwired »

I log every change on current power usage for every Plug wise circle.
I now see dropping the powerusage to 0 for some circles while the device attached to the circle is still On.
For example:
I'm watching television and my LCD television is using 180 Watt, suddenly plugwise reports a drop to 0 (zero) for a couple of minutes.
Did some of you notice this drop to zero as well?

Yes, 5 minutes ago; i moved Circle A (unplugged and plugged back in 3 meters away) and Circle B said my PC was using 0 W.

I can confirm that a 'drop to zero' has occurred to me as well (not very often though).

I've also seen it happen a couple of times too. Although this was during a period in which I was testing several things. My conclusion was, it must be due to the testing. But if you guys also experience this behaviour this needs more attention.

Rene.
