Schema not working correct

Post by RdP »

Hi,

I used schemas for a while and it worked perfectly, but since a couple of days some plugs seems to have lost any sense of time. See attached image.
The circle should have gone off during the green standby killer time (below 15 watt) but it still on (red) and uses 10 watt.

I looks like the time of the circle is not in sync with the source software....

Anyone have seen this behavior before ?

Thanks,
Rien

I have a simular problem, schedules with only standbykiller don't function correctly.

When a circle is switched on with the source or a power up, is doesn't switch off when the usage is lower than the standbykiller value.
I'm running the new source 2.14 en firmware 2009-09-08. In the firmware releasenotes it says.

- After a switch command or a power up, a switching schedule will be continued at the next state change in the schedule.

This means that with a schedule with only standbykiller values, the circle won't switch off because there is no state change (on/off) in the schedule. The old behavior was that after switch on or power up the schedule was (re)activated after 15 minutes.

The new behavior is ment for the switch, you wouldn't want an appliance to switch off (or on) after 15 minutes if you used a switch, but it should react on the standykiller value.

I reported the problem to Plugwise, there are more users with the same problem and they are looking for a solution.

the work around for this issue, I found out is simple.
Just use a standby killer change every 15 min. So for 15min, 11w then 10w, then 11w etcetera.
It's a little bit more work to configure, but it works perfectly.

workarround not working for me.

Situation
Schedule with 15w and 16w alternating standbykiller every 15 minutes. Appliance is using 64w in On state and 6w in Off state.
Switched on circle using Source, after 20 minutes switched off appliance, usage in source is now 6w, after 1 hour the circle is still On.

So conclusion is, alternating standbykiller is not seen as an state change in a schedule, so schedule is NOT activated and circle stays On.

I changed all standbykiller schedule's with alternating watt settings and save and sent the schedules but it had NO effect, schedules with only standbykiller value's don't function if you switch the circle on with the source or with a power up.

Schedules' with a combination of on and standbykiller values function correctly.
