Changelist:
Plugwise Source 2.16 RC1 Release 20101231

Check out the updated webserver demo page. In Source go to SettingsàProgram, start the webserver and click the URL.

Fixed (from 2.15):
-#1584 Unable to change end date of existing tariff
-#1507 UpdateWizard: Unknown modules counted as 'online'
-#1500 Wrong graph if there is no production tariff for the whole shown period
-#1452 PTE: Module.OpenRelay and Module.CloseRelay do not work until module has changed state
-#1392 After firmware update, broadcast groups are not resent automatically. Switches will not work
-#1324 After firmware update, some schedules are not sent or activated
-#1031 No power production data (i.e. from solar panel) when using modules produced in 2010 or later
-#0926 When Zigbee time sync fails, Source not always corrects module clock.

Changes:
- Support for firmware version 2.34 (2010-11-01)
- Support for Switch
- Manual proxy server configuration in ConfWiz and under SettingsàProgram
- Support for P1 port of Dutch smart meter (in combination with Stretch-P1)
- Power usage is rounded to Watts
- ConfigWizard: No longer accepts 2008 firmware modules by default. Use checkbox to change behaviour
- Copy & paste for schedules
- French and Greek language support, but not all texts are translated yet.
- Localized manuals are no longer integrated in setup file, but downloaded during setup.

Known issues:
- No Greek manual

Just updated from 2.16 beta to RC1 and that went smooth. (Already had the new firmware on the plugs).

Request for the next version: being able to run the plugwise server as a service.

The first line of the message was 'Update for ALL users', should be 'Update for Beta users'.

I am sorry, I was confused.
It's (almost) available for all users :)
It's the Release Candidate, so just a matter of a few days....

For the Firmware update: what does 'Support for Switch' mean?

You can create a group of devices and attach the switch to that.
(look at the complete image to see the switch)

Plugwise Firmware 2.34, Release 20101101

Post by TANE »

There is a new firmware available.
Looks very promising.
I have a network with 35 modules...this can be slow sometimes (1-2 seconds)
Updating now..

Fixes:
- Time synchronization of Circle+ does not take place when interval is set
- Sporadic resets of nodes caused by Circle+ time sync sent out
- Power logging contains invalid time stamps without clock sync from Circle+
- Schedule does not work for Circle after power off without clock sync from Circle+
- Switch stops sending awake messages
- Stick can lose network while preparing image

Changes:
- Updated ZigBee Pro stack
- Faster routing between Stick and nodes in large networks.

I updated to the new source and the new firmware when it was available.
It seems there's a new bug introduced in the source or the firmware which was not there before.
Sometimes, the power usage is almost zero for a plug (sometimes several plugs at the same time, sometimes only one plug).
It's always at the start of a new day: at 0:00h
See screendumps.
You can see that the usage drops to almost zero at 0:00h. This is incorrect.
I have seen one time that the dropped usage was added the next hour but all other times, the usage was just lost and not added the next hour.

I'm not sure if this bug is in the new source or if it is in the new firmware.

Lets see if plugwise recognize this problem, they are reading this forum and will react.
