Problem is with the driver, not with the source.
Basically if u download the driver from ftdi site it has some problems now and then.
U need to remove all ftdi drivers with the program ftdi has on there site, and then install the source again with the drivers that come with it.
Or just use /comport=com<number>

Had the same problem here, fixed it by removing all drivers like above.

Last night the source couldn't find the stick again, while it was started using the /comport parameter. I restarted the Source to no avail. Once I disconnected the stick and connected it again, the Source could find the stick again. I never had these kind of problems until the last beta.

if i see al this driver problems i cant understanad why a request from me to plugwise to sell a serial port version of the stick is bounced with the remark , "it is a lot of extra testing"'.

How simpler how better , its is not only the first law in finance but also in computing.

Hi All

I upgraded to version Beta 2.22 20120620 and since then the standalone web server is no longer working. I'm receiving constantly an error:Failed to listen on prefix 'http://*:8080/' because it conflicts with an existing registration on the machine.

There is no other service than plugwise listening on port 8080.

However if I run Source instead, webserver works

Any idea?

Thx

Well try Fixio Driver Finder. This program can identify which driver your system needs and it would download it.
