"Unrecognized Database Format" during Plugwise startup

Post by yjb »

Hi,

Tried to start Plugwise today and get the following message

Code: Select all

Unrecognized Database Format ..\PlugwiseData.mdb
I tried to restore from a previous version using the backup/restore utility, but that is giving the exact same error message

I can probably blow away the mdb file, and try again, but I'm wondering if there are any alternatives?

Also, do I loose all the data collected after the crash, or is that still available on the Circle+?

Thanks,
Ysbrand

The error "Unrecognized Database format" or "error 3343" usually pops up due to any corruption in the database. You can either go with a compact and repair feature available in Microsoft Access, or you can also try importing the database objects into a new database. The article on Microsoft will guide you to repair Corrupt Access database and start working on the same database as you used to.
