Klik aan klik uit sensor?

This could be nice to use for example the same way as Bwired with the doorbell, to give a signal out to make a webcam picture.

Reason for this is that they only cost 15,50 euro.

Anyone used these for some projects? Or perhaps they cant be used with rfxcom?

How are you going to connect a doorbell to a sensor?
For the doorbell trigger I use the SM10

I thought i would rip it open, and then do some magic on it. Dont know if thats possible, but in my head it sounded like an workable idea. All those devices to have a contact for the doorbell are 50 euro's, thats still alot.

I think you need more than magic to fix that.
on the most doorbells there is 8 volt power...
SM10 price is 40 Euro..(marktplaats.nl 20 euro few weeks ago)

You dont have to connect the 8 volt.. you can use a second push button.. i dont know the schematics.. i could check it out some time.. (its ony 15 euro hehe)

I think also the sending unit of the doorbell will work.

I think two (reed) relays will do the job. I would use the reed-relay to simulate the closure to the klik device, and a 'normal' relay to switch the doorbell. Obviously the diodes in paralllel with the relays, and maybe a little bit additional logic to capture people who only 'touch' the doorbell. I have something simalair using a Visonic MCT-100 to capture my mailbox and doorbell. Works like a charm.

24,95 euro's still cheaper the the 40 euro's ..

But i have a high crime stright of some sort, i've used wireless doorbells, i allready lost 2 of them (they just rip of the doorbell) i have no clue why people rip of doorbells but they do. Also a reason for my new house to put a camera on top of it.

That's great idea. Do you use RFXcom to capture the signals from MCT-100?

Ah the MCT-100 also has 2 cable entry's. Too bad my mailbox in the future is going to be outside my house, so i need something small and wireless (and if needed, lost)

The Visonic sensors (868Mhz) are also more reliable then the KAKU sensors (433Mhz). They also send the current status every 10 to 15 minutes and have two inputs. But its good new that KAKU is expending there product line and the battery solution (3 Volt lithium) is also good.

I have this unit installed since a month or so.
Works ok. I purchased an extra chime for in the back of the house.
Advantage is that you can keep your existing doorbell.

There are a lot of possibilities to implement the doorbell setting.
I have still my standard doorbell including the standard pushbutton and chime at my door. When an doorbell event is triggered after the the doorbell is pushed my door camera starts grabbing the images and my RFXcom transmitter transmits a signal to the KAKU Chimes located in my office and the kitchen. Agree with Robert keep the existing doorbell, I find the pushbutton from KAKU no option because I think it's very ugly [:0]
In a couple of weeks I will replace my current doorbell with a pusher and a small CCD camera module in it. This fits completely in the existing configuration but then I have full face pictures. Hope this is gonna work.[:D]
