KaKu and Duwi Funk

Post by William.abbo »

Does anyone know if the KaKu modules and Duwi Funk modules are compatible ie. use the same protocol. So, can I control a Kaku receiver with a Duwi Funk module without the use of HomeSeer and RFXcom?

Düwi Funk is based on the Z-wave standard.
This is completely differend from Kaku.
Z-wave uses an other (les crouded) frequency to opperate, and is secure by design, wich Kaku is not.
So those two types of devices cannot directly interact with each other.

kind regards..

Martijn.

Martijn,

I was not talking about Duwi Z-Wave but about Duwi Funk-modules, they are completely different. Duwi Funk-modules is something completely different then Duwi Z-Wave

Did anybody test the compatibility of KaKu? Do we know which are the compatible products / ranges?
