ACM-1000

Post by Harry »

I have tried to use a ACM-1000 to switch a TL.
and it seems that this has broken 2 units now.

after i had learnt the code into the unit, the TL light has switcht about 6 or 7 times, after that nothing.
i have checkt the fuses they are oke.
the learning of the unit's seem to like going oke with RFXCOM as with the original kaku remote.
but the unit's are not switching anymore.

now is my question , can a TL light break a ACM-1000 module.
what unit must i use to switch it.

Strange with two modules in a row ... but ...
ACM-1000 should handle all kinds of 230V lights up to 1000Watt
Try another light (gloeilamp)/reset the unit and reprogrammed
Check the internal fuse it is a 5Amp fuse.
Likely inside a relais and no thyristor as switching element

If still not working go back to the shop and claim your warranty.
You may contact the KAKU helpdesk ..
