Hi,
I need some help. Not for myself, but for you. I wanna know if some code that I wrote, will also work on other models of the Fritz!Box. Mine is a 7170. I have a USB stick attached to the 7170, my 7170 web interface shows me this:
And when I use a DOS box and enter net use T: \\192.168.20.1\usbflashmemory-01 I can access the USB stick as drive T:
This is what my File Manager shows me:
I would like to have more versions of the files that are in the voicebox directory - your version!
In my case, the files are named config, lock and meta* . I need those.

As I said, I wrote some code that works fine on my 7170, but that's no guarantee for other models.
So, if you would like to help me testing, share those files with me and I'll remember your name when the beta stage starts

One other thing: those who would like to prepare themselves for the next version of the Plugin: attach a USB stick to your Fritz!, so you can access those voicebox files just like I can; read-only will suffice.

something is different on a 7390....

Is what i see on de webpage, but i do not see the folder voicebox appear on a mapping i made....

But i send the config file anyway...

The voicebox is part of your current path, so you do have the directory.
And 2nd, this is from your browser, right? That's not going to help in the future, cause the Plugin will need a drive letter.

So there are no more files there, just the config file and the rec directory? What about the contents of the rec directory, maybe you can find those files meta* there? Or a directory level higher maybe?

It seems that on the 7390 the voicebox is stored on the onboard flash (?)?
In de rec dir there is not a file.

When i make the mapping, I see files, but none of them is related to the fritzbox

Oops, just to make sure everybody understands what I' working on: voicemail.... forgot to mention that
So if you don't have your Fritz configured with Answering machine turned on, you may not see all the files I am referring to...

Small update: I upgraded my own system this evening. Below is a small part of the touchscreen; the red is showing me the number of 'unplayed' voicemails

I figured that out allready..... (about the voicemail)

I did configure the voicemail with the "wizard", but there is another option to be set:


Now i see the folder on my USB drive.
Including the config and the lock file.

Files send again...

Just sent a mail (for FritzBox 7390).

Pff, for a moment I thought there was something wrong with my eyes, but it seems that there are little endian and big endian models (7390 is the 1st 'big' I have seen)
It's never easy with the Fritz!

Ik weet inmiddels wat ik weten moest, beta testen is dus niet meer nodig.
Ik ben inmiddels bezig met de volgende versie, dus even geduld nog...
