Hello,
I'm trying to get the latest image from my doorcam on my iphone using HST.
I do have the image but it does not refresh when a new 'latest.jpg' is created. So it keeps on showing the original picture when i deployed.
In HST I choose image (correct?) and set video=true and refresh=60 sec. Does not work.
For me it does not have to refresh automatically every xx sec, just when I open the screen would be OK too.
Can anybody help me or show a screenshot of the working settings?
Question 2: If i would set refresh every 60 seconds (without the 'latest.jpg' image being renewed, does it still use data-traffic?) I only have a limited data available every month (my employer does noy understand that I need unlimited for domotica reasons )
See below my current settings:
Thanx,

Hi jeroen,
Question 1 can be simply answered, because I had the same problem last week. You have to place the image location at the 'ImageURLNormal' section.
I use also the complete pad like i.e. 'http://192.168.1.58/ipcam.jpg', but your link should also work I think.
On question 2 I can't give you an answer.

Jeroen,
Q1: You image doesn't refresh. Could this be because you're not using imageURL? Should you point to a 'web' location instead of a file-system location?
(can you put your latest.jpg in your Homeseer HTML directory and then use http://<ipaddress>/latest.jpg)
Q2: I would think a refresh is a refresh (like a browser reload). If the image doesn't change the image will be reloaded as it can't tell if the source changed.

Re: updating doorcam image in HStouch
Hey guys,
Thanx so far.
One more question: When I store the webcam picture in the HTML folder it works fine.
But I would like to store them in /html/webcam/logitech c210/latest.jpg
What should I change the location into as http://192.168.1.3:82/webcam/logitech c210/latest.jpg is not working?

Re: updating doorcam image in HStouch
Remove the space in your URL and rename your directory 'logitech c210' to 'logitechc210'. That should solve it. Then all you should need is:
http://192.168.1.3:82/webcam/logitechc210/latest.jpg
http://192.168.1.3:82/webcam/logitechc210/latest.jpg
