Nice!
Interesting is that the 7" SmartQ-7 with 800x480 touch-screen runs Ubunti according to the specs
http://www.eletroworld.cn/nb/SmartQ_7.htm
But this website has WinCE 6.0 for download? (probably only Chinese
)

Would you be able to run a HSTouch client on a device like this?

If it runs ce5 or 6 it can run hstouch.... but remind to keep your page sizes small in memory use.
it is a .net application on the ce platform wich is not perfect but very usable to me.
Like my win ce5 core (minimal ce 5 version) gps it is possible to tweak the os... and if i am right they remap the system dir to a memory card or internal flash drive and patches the original os.
take a look at gpspassion forum for more info on packages like miopocket... ( does run on others than mio to )
http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topi ... _ID=126303
Upgrading the os could be a bit more difficult because of driver problems.

For sure it will work with Vera
You can test it if you like.

Hi Marco,
Did you get the screen(s)? Which types did you try?
Whats your experience with them, did you use them for something special?
Lot of questions I know, but maybe I want to use such a screen for HSTouch.
