Would this be something to be used with HS Touch? The
GOCAL Tablet PC 7 inch TFT Touch Screen E702A2010. Maybe someone who already has some experience with this device?

Runs Windows CE and low resolution. No option. Do you have better options in your shop?

Ah, no, I am not in any way related to this shop. I am just looking for a good tablet for a nice price. My alternative would be the Archos 9 (I guess), but if I can find something for a better price, that would be nice.

Any other suggestions beside the (bit expensive) Archos 9?

HST will run on that device but a bit slow. I have the albatron teepc faster CPU and wince 6.0 even this device is a bit slow. 800x480 is good for HST.

Depending on what you expect and where you want to go....

My personal experience tells me i would like to have more controll points than i want to have full size pcs running... Some can be just simple to switch on some automated processes or function like a luxurush mulit level light switch.

Like the interface in our main living room wich i need to share with my mum and granny. I cant expect them to work with a kind of advanced interface and stuff needs to be loud and clear.
So the interface has to be easy, and there for a ce machine is a perfect option. It would even be overkill in my case...

Pro side of these kind of machines is:

no hastle with updating the os and virusscanners etc..
energy friendly
size and cables

I am still looking for a nice, small, affordable tablet. So what would be the minimal processor you would need to run HST smootly? ARM 300 Mhz? 450 Mhz?
