ADAPT MX1200 UMPC touchpanel

Post by Bwired »

No SP1 yet, does it have advantages for the UMPC
I have Vista earo off
And a 4GB SD card (Extreme III) for readyboost
So once all is started the device is OK, but still can do better.
Are you using the above tweaks you described

Was thinking about installing XP on the fast SD card, but I'm not sure. What dou you think?

I have not done any tweaks, nor do I have a readyboost card installed. I only use it to run NetRemote on and I'm happy with the performance for that...

I think that installing vista on a 4Gb CF card is a bit ambitious.
my vista footprint is about 15Gb, without any applications installed.

I am currently running girder on XP on a 2GB flash card..

also note that SSD's use NAND Flash
a CF card, probably not...
