Dropad

Final after 4 weeks my Dropad Android tablet arrived.

I must admit it's working fine...
HSTouch is running smooth.
7" is perfect for HStouch 10" Ipad is a bit to much screen.
First thing to do is a Firmware upgrade from 2.2 -> 2.3
I will post a youtube video later..

Looking forward to hear what you think of it after using it a while. These things are pretty cheap.

I have it via a reseller (viavia..)
$210 + porto + tax+ 12,5 (invoer administratie).
the price is a bit to high for the dutch market..when compared to other devices like POV
better price on dealextreme...

Upgrade is done.
All is running very smooth.
Since the 2.31 is a beta there are some problems with the WIFI connectivity.
I have to turn on/off the wifi sometimes..
Also installed the latest version of HSTouch 1.14.
Aslo installed some small tools
for keeping the device one when HStouch is runing SCREEN ON
Slide to unlock removed with NO LOCK
both are freeware tools.

I had to upgrade the firmware few times before found the one that is correct working.
The latest version is performing well
2.3.1 20110707.160020
There are lot of custom firmwares available.
HStouch is working well on the device.
Without camera pages all is very fast.
When using camera pages you will notice some slow down..still very good.
