Fibaro FGBS321 Universal Binary Sensor

Post by raymonvdm »

Manaul: http://www.fibaro.com/manuals/en/FGBS32 ... .1-2.3.pdf

I have one of these modules but i`m unable to get an instant status update when a button is pressed. It should be working but it`s not. (I`m using HS3) and i think it might be firmware related.

Can someone where it is working fine tell me their Firmware version?

Code: Select all

Manufacturer: Fibaro System
Type: 0x501
ID: 0x102
Listens: Yes
Version: 340 (Unknown)
Firmware: 349
Neighbor Count: 5
Speed: 40.0Kbps

Running HS3PRO on PC with Z-Wave / OpenTherm / Plugwise / RFXcom / MQTT / XAP400 / Logitech Media Server and Squeezelite on PI`s

Hi,

I had the same issues, in the beginning of HS3. What I did was to change the alarmframe that was the send upon change, not sure.. was a while ago, but I have 3 of those sensors with instant sensor updates..
Software: HS3, HStouch, Plugwise , BLBackup, BLLatestImage, Zwave, JowiHUE, PHlocation, Netcam, Harmony Plugin, ThinkingCleaner, HSPhone, Eneco Toon Script, Pushover, Visonic Powermax LV Interface

I think we already talked about it once using the forum but i could not find the posts.

Can you give me some more information so i can find out what to do next?

I tried the following

Code: Select all

Parameter 5 changed to 0
Parameter 6 changed to 0
Parameter 13 was already 0

And this is the result for testing one button

If I recall correctly, the alarmframe for input 1 should be something else then for input 2. I will try to look it up this week.

Gents,(oops posted in the wrong topic before)

follow the posts at domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=79&amp ... +universal

associations need to have endpoints and par 5 and 6 need to be generic alarm.

In addition, probably good to excluded/reset first, had some issues with including in the past. Devices should be visible as (without connected temp sensors):

board.homeseer.com/showpost.php?p=11199 ... tcount=131

Mine are working now for almost a year without issues, got 2 of them.

Does input2 also trigger input1 in HS3. Because that is the issue i'm having with dual relay modules running firmware 20 or higher

Try another module to rule things out. I don't have a "new" module so i cannot test it out. I think this is an amazon module wich might have newer firmware?

Akatar, just did a quick test with one of the 'Italian' sets:

First inclusion showed only 1 'reserved' node but after I connected yellow and green wire to GND for a while it suddenly popped up and started to work.

Do you see the same nodes as me?

Tried a full reset?

In my case when I hold yellow or green wire against (blue) GND it switches the node with a small delay of 1-3 secs.

Input 1 is does nothing in HS3 but the output is working, also in HS3
Input 2 is working in HS3 and also the output.
