Does anyone have experience with this device:
z-weather, by popp:

http://www.popp.eu/products/z-weather/

I am particularly interested in sensitivity of the device with respect to signal strength/connectivity related to mounting position, and signal (or measured data) accuracy.
Anyone?

grtz,

Not much information available, but for sale already:

Only around 195 euro, a little bit high for my personal taste (if it was around 100 euro, i would have ordered it).

Seems to be the case. In the meantime I read some reviews of the device. Not altogether flattering, I'm afraid: http://www.zwave-review.com/tests/Z-Weather-4.php
Temperature readings in sunny weather can be way off the mark, and consequently, humidity readings are way off as well. No good if you want to connect temperature dependent actions to it.

For now, it's off my list of wanted sensors.

this device looks very fragile, i can see the print under the mounting
looks like the z-weather has a short operating life?
