Eurotronic Spirit thermostate

Post by Wim2008 »

I have bought and read in this week the thermostate of Eurotronic in HS3. Is was simple to included the thermostate and also simple to calibrate it for the radiator.
I have bought this thermostate, because some people told me, that this thermostate will work fine in HS3. For so far they are right.

Now I like to to know what all 9 lines mean in HS3 to make an event for heating 2 hours in the morning and the rest of the day no heating.
Line:
1. No Status ; ?
2. 100% ; battery polling
3. 0 ; temperature of ?
4. 15 ; wanted temperature in room
5. Off ; mode is off, heat, energy save heat or full power
6. No event ; ?
7. Off ; ?
8. No event ; ?
9. 18.7 C ; temperature in room now ?

i guess, if you switch:
5. Off ; mode is off, heat, energy save heat or full power
to energy save that 3 and 6 will give information

i think 7 will be how far the valve is open.

setpoint is 15, temp is 18 so valve is closed (off)

when you set setpoint to 21 i think valve is open of a percentage of that?
please test.

Thanks for your help.
Point 5 must be changed to heat and heat setpoint has to go for warming up the radiator.
I will test point 7. You idea for it, could be right.
Point 6 and 8 I still don't understand.

I have made an event. See attachement. It is simple, but it works fine for me till now. Warm bathroom when I take a shower. Also for my wife and kids.

There are more settings to change on this thermostate. At the websitre of VueVille, you can see that the LCD screen can turn around for 180 degrees. See http://www.vueville.com/home-automation ... mment-8447.
Can someone understand how to do that?

I have read the pdf-file. They tell that you can confugure the thermostate during runtime. See page 18. Where can I change parameter number 1?
I can't find this on the thermostate or in the controller.

Thanks a lot, Akatar.
In HS3 you find it on this way: See line Thermostat Node 2 with no STATUS. Select this name by one clic on that name.
You will come on a new page with 4 tabs on the top.
Select tab Z-WAVE.
Go to Settings and if you clic once on this, you will see the same line as show by Akatar.

I used it on that way. And YES the LCD turns 180 degrees. Nice to know where you can do this.
Here you can change the parameters of the thermostat as shown in the installation and instruction guide you find before.
