Re: Danfoss Zwave radiator valve Review [Dutch/English]
I’m also going to chime in with a few questions
Like many here I also have city heating, I have this controlled by a single valve which in turn is controlled by a thermostat in the living room. The living room has in floor heating, and takes a long time to heat up the room, which is no problem, but upstairs I have normal radiators and it gets VERY warm here because the city heating pumps through some extremely hot water and while the living room might take an hour to get to temperature, the upstairs rooms reach it in a much shorter time but stay open since they are also controlled by the livingroom thermostat – closing the radiator valves almost shut does little more than delay the heating for about 10 minutes.
Will the danfoss radiator valves shut off completely via z-wave? Or only manually? I am slightly confused about this since it was mentioned it only does the moon / sun thing via z-wave, changing the temp by half a dozen degrees?
Cheers,
Elco

@talisman,
Just a small tip :
To regulate flow distribution you can use the inbus at the foot tvalve ( litt translated from the dutch word voet ventiel ) and open/close the inlet gateway to your radiator. So by closing them a bit it should atleast take longer and the floor get more preasure so it might heat up a bit faster.
This is also use full for those radiators in high rooms that get warm to slow. Just close the others a bit so the presure gets up and the warm water gets at higher places sooner.
Witch also makes me wonder or it does save on the amount of used water.
PS: its hidden behind a cap with (screw thread) you got to open up before you see an inbus.

Re: Danfoss Zwave radiator valve Review [Dutch/English]
Well the in-floor heating unit is located just next to the city heating unit, and has its own pump and regulator etc - this allows you to set the ingoing temperature and outgoing temp and it will circulate the water untill it reaches the outgoing temp - I suppose if I want to heat up the ground floor faster I could just up the outgoing temperature so it pumps through more water ... I just don't know what effect this would have on my bills
Though I suppose city heating is charged for the difference in joules between the incoming and outgoing water temp of the city heating unit (i.e. the actual used ammount of energy)
that's all theoretical anyways - I already have the radiator valves closed almost completely, and I don't think the in-floor heating is starved for pressure etc - would closing the voetventiel still make a difference in the radiators getting so incredibly hot?
Cheers,
Elco

Re: Danfoss Zwave radiator valve Review [Dutch/English]
Apparently Honeywell does sell (in my case) M28 to M30 converter rings.
I've been looking for some time now, but till now no luck.

.... Nee, maar daar is wel een verloop voor beschikbaar zodat de M30 kraan gebruikt kan worden.
Deze verloopringen zijn verkrijgbaar bij de plaatselijke dhz zaak of installateurs en is van Honywell...

But than again.. I could also be wrong.

Re: Danfoss Zwave radiator valve Review [Dutch/English]
So it was not so simple as buying a plug by the Gamma
It would be a very strange products and warmteservice ask it by difference suppliers.
Only Honeywell are able to deliver them , but honeywell europe is not familair with this products.
Finallay the can order those rings , just order 1 for testing with danfoss M30. ( delivery time will be 3 weeks or less )
After testing we ( Mood ledlight and Ezhome ) will decid to order some more for selling.
So with a few weeks I can post the photo´s and review.

Great News!
Do you also need (like me) the M28 to M30 ring?
