Because I keep getting problems with my USB->COM driver that is used with my POPP Zwave USB stick I am curious what drivers other sticks use and what the experiences are.
Would also like to try someones stick to see if it works better on my systems.
The POPP is using the SIlabs Cp210xx driver. (Same as Xanura PMIX35) I am currently using version 5.40 on WinXP SP3

I use the SIlabs Cp210xx for my Micasaverde (Aeon) stick. No known problems.
My Tricklestar stick use a Prolific driver.
Both have an issue with Z-Command running wild, if the service is not stopped before removing the stick. But i think thats a Z-Command bug.

How do do mean a Popp USB stick? Popp doesn't have any z-wave USB sticks. Do you mean a Aeon-Labs?
This stick uses the same drivers as the ControlThink stick, maybe you have to try the older drivers. I've read some they have less problems with multiple connected devices.

ahhh yes my mistake, its the Aeon-labs stick, thanks for the correction.
I had the older drivers (v4) and they giave the trouble, after updating to V5 I got it working for a while but after every reboot it is a lottery if they both get assigned the same comm port or not. Most of the time they do.
I know there is a program that seems to rebuild the driver or firmware of a device, Where you can set a differen ID, but had no time to dive into that, also at the risk of getting a non working stick.....
Hope they will have a Win7 driver soon but I see no sign of it.
