HS & Merten ZWAVE devices.

Out of all the devices I ordered two were malfunctioning (Radio Sensor Cover Connect Dimmer and Switch - The dimmer wasn't dimming and the switch had one position - on) which is very disappointing for a brand which is rather expensive. It took almost forever to get the Remote Switch to work with HS. At the end the trick seems to be, although it sounds hard to believe, remove the plastic mounting frame and stand very close to the ZWAVE stick which is connected to HS. Due to the malfunctioning and the so so support in HS i'm going to wait a while before extending the current setup. The Remote Switch was was recognized as a Dimmer Switch in HS .114 and as a Switch in HS .117

I had a similar experience with a HomePro ZDW232 device. First was dead on arrival: non responsive and was switched on all the time. It had to be replaced.

I spoke to the supplier this morning, the faulty units will be replaced.
