New Zwave products from Fibaro

Post by TANE »

A company from Poland has developed some nice small zwave products.

fibaro.com/http://www.fibaro.com/eng/in ... /index.php
Like all the other companys they has also developed a gateway including nice iPhone app

I wonder what the high heels means.

Most interesting products are the small modulas that you can build in behind the existing switches..

Products that will be available end of September
Relay Insert 2 * 1.5 KW
Relay Insert 1 * 3 KW
Universal Dimmer 500W Insert Module + Dimmer Bypass for low consumption 0,5 watt
Blind Control Insert

Looks interesting! Especially the possibility to build in behind regular switches. Is this a totally new product or an adaptation of excisting modules. I hope .me firmware is available!

Very interesting indeed, any (trustworthy) availability announced yet? :)

edit: availability for the modules: end of september (apparently). Gateway: Not available yet?
edit2: compared to the (will it ever be available?) aeon labs micromodule dimensions 51x49x19mm, the size of this fibaro module is awesome: 42 x 38x 15mm. It's even smaller than the oldskool X10 Marmitek AW12 46x46x17mm

Looks nice! I'd certainly be interested in this product if it's 2way, meaning that if I press the switch button, a notification is sent out, same as the .me firmware does. Oh, and the price has to be right ofcourse.

The high heels are the wardrobe :-)

If you like to know some more here are the docs: ftp://ftp.zwaveeurope.com/pub/man/en/FIB/
Tip: You can also find docs from other suppliers at ftp://ftp.zwaveeurope.com/pub/man/en

Docs looks nice, if they can deliver what they promised on time then it's goodbye aeon labs and hello Fibaro....

Good to know that it's compatible with homeseer/aeon labs dongle. What exactly should we understand by "single way". Were you able to test if the module pushes automatically its status to homeseer?

i am to give some informations ...:
the modul is abble to push its status to HS as soon as you turn on /off on your switch manually , so that you have to program a pull order in the device configuration of the modul...we tested it with each 5 seconds of pulling

sorry for my language...
