Ok,
I did find some info on the Northq solution:
http://www.northq.com/kartotek/Katalog/Zwave/92021.pdf
Already sent them an email where I can buy this in NL.
For the short term I dont mind using their application running on my server but I also understand it´s open (except for historical data) interface so I should be able to grab actuale use from the sensor into Vera, HomeSeer or Domotiga.... Stil need to decide how to proceed!

Re: Z-wave enabled pulse counters (energy monitoring)
Hi.
I have a beta of the NorthQ.
As far as I know it's standard Z-Wave. Hence it should be possible to get everything with the right parameter.
I have been told, it should be on the marked around a month from now.
Regards
Morten

Re: Z-wave enabled pulse counters (energy monitoring)
The NorthQ 9021 is available in the Dutch webshops for 94,95 euro.
I will test this in the next days and post some more info on my blog http://blog.tane.nl
Some users reported that it's working fine with the Vera.
The NQ 9021 is the version without the extra Zwave usb stick for the PC.
The Z-Wave Smart Meter Sensor is a compact sensor designed to read meter values from traditional electromechanical and electronic meters with optical port.
The sensor is easy to install and ideal for precise meter reading down to 0,1kwh. Its compact size and external wireless transmitter makes it easy to install in any distribution board.

Re: Z-wave enabled pulse counters (energy monitoring)
Thanks! I´ll await your review. I understood from Eminent that it would take more time before they will release their version...
I am interested in the VERA2 integration.. Dont want a seperate tool for energy monitoring from Eminent and the Vera...

Re: Z-wave enabled pulse counters (energy monitoring)
Are there also editions for gas monitoring? Where? Which? Most of my electronics is monitored and controlled by Plugwise, but my gas usage is still an "black hole" and i think i can save a lot if i'm more aware of my usage.
Re: Z-wave enabled pulse counters (energy monitoring)
NorthQ doesn't have products for water and gas yet.
They have plans but no products.
As I understand it, now the electricity meter is ready, they will start working on water and gas.
But it's a pulse counter, maybe you can use the electricity meter?
Regards
