Motor control for 12V motorized roller blinds

Post by Moskus »

Is there such a thing with Z-wave?

I want to use this: http://rollertrol.com/universal-DC-moto ... nds-shades
... but with Z-wave control. Which z-wave device can I use?

My brain must be off! The engine is running, but there's noone behind the wheel...

Yes, the Fibaro (which I prefer) can use an alternate power source. That's great!
Thanks! :)

What roller blinds do you use for this? In my last search I couldn't find any with the correct tube size...

I asked them about that. The "Universal Rollertrol Motor" should even fit into a typical Ikea roller blind.
I think I'll order one and test it. :)

(I also want to test some RFXCOM controllable blinds from Hasta.se that Bert tipped me of, but apparently it is some work to find a Norwegian retailer).

I think you'll need the mini series, for an 18 mm tube. I'll give it a try, ordered one.

They can ship, but you need to contact them. It's costing me a whopping $89 to have it sent to me.

But still cheaper than the other options...

Damn that's a lot of money for shipping!!

Another (cheap) option is http://www.home4u-store.com/rohrmotoren ... 3_744.html, but I can't find suitable blinds for those motors.

Maybe we can combine our order(s)?

Sure! But shipping in Europe isn't that much cheaper...
