Z-Wave pull switch

Post by raymonvdm »

In the bathroom the light is switched on/off using a Pull Switch. The rope of the current pull switch is getting bad and i would like to replace the pull switch before it btreak. But to make things more easy i also would like to move on to a z-wave enabled version.

What is the best option for this. I already bought a Bush-Jaeger pull switch but this is a on/off switch not a puls switch.

Only thing i can quickly think of, is to put a Fibaro FGS-211 behind it.

Not sure if this is the best solution, but perhaps the FIBARO Door/Window Sensor?
It has a 2 wire input part. I'm not sure if it's only supposed to be used for pulse or a simple alarm trigger: if connected, then on, if disconnected then off type.

See section two of their website page about this: http://www.fibaro.com/en/the-fibaro-sys ... dow-sensor
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Fibaro HC2, various z-wave switching, alerting, detection modules.
