Aeon labs multisensor geen temp en hum in homeseer

Post by JDJD »

hello, I have a problem with my aeontec multisensor.

I have the sensor for a few days now, But I can't get it work in Homeseer.

Homeseer see's only the battery status, the multilevel sensor ( it stay always on unknown), and the motion sensor.

Homeseer don't see the humidity sensor and the temperature sensor.

I perform a firmware update on the sensor, and Homeseer is up to date.

The sensor is completely reset and it is excluded from homeseer. After that, I include it again but no results :(

I try too do a re-scan on the device. but still no humidity sensor or temperature sensor.
By association group 1 I selected homeseer.

Have more people problems with this sensor?
How can I fix this?

Many thanks :)

Ok I'm still on 2.5.23 and the sensor works fine on this version. So if you already included again and did a rescan there is not much more you can try. I would suggest to RMA this unit and ask for a replacement.

It is a known problem ...the firmware was changed and not yet supported in Homeseer ... Fibaro HC2 has a similar support problem with this device.... check the forums

I had the same problem. Download the latest release (v 2.5.0.81) from http://homeseer.com/downloads/index.htm

The latest released couldn't be seen with the updater so manual download is necesarry. It support the latest AEON firmware release
