Hi all

I ordered a toon thermostat. I read some posts here and other forums. But im would like to know some more about ghe zwave capabilities and possible hacking of the toon. Are there some people with some "toon" experience.

Ideal situation will be integration in hs3 for me

Regards

Bart

that's gonna be difficult. I was also looking into that; according to here:
https://forum.eneco.nl/suggesties-ideea ... toon-4853/

The used zwave chipset is a "Z-wave: Sigma based 0301 Z-wave module (Europese versie)". Which is a zwave chipset with integrated programmable 8051. Probably the main cpu is connected via SPI, RS232; see: http://www.z-wave.ru/download-document/ ... -chip.html

So that will make it difficult, because it's not known how to communicate with this module and what the protocol is. I did found a development kit (I guess) of this chip:
ftp://act-solutions.com/Megaworld/Devki ... 0here.html

The razberry uses a simular chipset; ZM3102
