How is the white compared to things like warm white LED strips, normal bulbs, and RGB LED-strip "white"?
I am considering putting some of those in lights in the livingroom to replace normal lights (next to the LED-strip which are used for ambient light).

Greetings,

Gijs
Fits in perfectly, i had the same concerns, but the standard starting color is perfect for us
its the color i like to use for normal lighting (but its personal).
So im planning to buy more bulbs :)

@Willem: same was the case for me when i ordered, so i was surprised to receive a email after one day, the shipping was done.
total delivery only 2 days for me

I am following this thread with great interest.

I have a question about the control of multiple Philips Hue lights, which I cannot find really answered on any of the info sites.

Can you control color and program differently and independently per different Hue light?

E.g. with the starter set, I want to place Hue lights in three different rooms. Can I then control the color and setting of those Hue lights per room without changing the color of a Hue light in another room?

Same procedure as adding livingcolor lights. I am still looking for nicely priced living colorlights.
Ive got almost no e sockets everything is gu10 or ledstrip :( however got my hues and i am working on a script. I can control them from homeseer. :)

Yep controlling the Hue is simple, took me 10 minutes to connect from my HA system.
But i wait a while to continue. So many people are busy inventing the same wheel for the Hue :)
See also the link Willem added and lots more, Hue is getting popular :)
