Hmm, annoying is that the LAMPS switch on at full intensity when power is applied .... range seems to be OK.

One question to you all...

What great things could you do with these lights?
(except illuminate things which is not that important ;-)

How do you use the extra functionality?
- Lamps turning blue on a new facebook update?
- Lamps changing color on motion detection?

- Incoming calls
- Incoming SMS
- Mail delivered
- Doorbell
- Ambulance in the area
- News in my city
- Chat (IRC, Google Chat) mentions

Also integrated the light settings into my livingroom "mode":
- Ambient
- Christmas
- Relax
- Party
- Movie

I've linked one of my desk lamps to change color to red whenever the elevator moves, that way one gets advance notification that somebody is coming ;)
