RFID or Chicklets: which protocol?

Does anyone know which protocol is used with the Visonic RFID tags?
I have the smaller (chicklets) and want to use them on another reader that is for opening the fence.
The purpose is have a reader that can read the tag and connect it to a RPi or something else that can send a signal if the tag is allowed.
Since I do not know what type of RFID it is, I would like to ask if someone knows which version it is or which reader can read them?
