PowerMax PRO and renaming the Zone names

Post by Noel »

Is it possible to rename the zone names (within the PowerMax pro itself) to something els?
Now I have a "Next MCW - PIR detecor" that I want to add to the hallway on the 2nd floor, but none of the "pre programed" zone names in the PowerMax come even close to this name.

Why sucks....Price is the same as one Xanura module[:D]
But when you don't want to buy it you can lend my interface if you want.

A Xanura module you will use many times.
The PowerMax pro programming hardware module only one time!

Thank you Chak.
I'm trying to play with the software (it's not connected to the PowerMax) and now it's asking for an operator and password!
Do you (Chak) know what this should be?

Nice one.. Looking at the interface, it does not show that you can change the zone name to an own defined name. Or.. Am I missing something here?

It's the 'Vrije Zone/Detector namen' under the 'Communicatie'-menu. The software has to be connected to a Visonic console in order to actually select this option.
