PowerMax Plus Web Interface Unit & Remote Acces

I recently installed a Web Link Interface to connect my PowerMax Plus to the internet to send status reports and also faciliate reomte access of the PowerMax. I was very disappointed to discover that there are no options for remote administration or configuration of the PowerMax which is a real pain. However, I note there is an RJ 45 port on the Web Link that is labled "Setup PC"

Does anyone know if this can be used to connect a PC for remote programming of the powermax ?. Given that the PowerMax uses a serial RJ 45 cable to connect the Web interface there is no way to connect a cable directly to the PowerMax without unplugging the Web Interface so it would seem logical to use the rJ 45 on the Web interface as a sort of passthrough but I dont seem to be able to get this working.

Any suggestions or feedback would be welcome.
