Visonic Powermax RF receiver

Post by b_weijenberg »

Hello Chris,

You can connect an XM10 (http://www.elekhomica.nl/product_info.p ... cts_id=256) to the VP1000.
This enables you to switch X10 modules on and off or dim lighting modules.

No Firmware upgrade is possible for the XM10. I have the XM10 as well but does not work so good on my Visonic Powermax. Also the possibilities are very limited and indeed its slow.

hi chris,

did you found out something about a firmware upgrade for the powermax 433 system ?

The system that I am using is blocked for outgoing calls to a mobile phone, via the firmware.

Regards,
Sander

<br />Hello, Im very interested in this. I have a BT VP1000 which is rebadged Visonic PowerMax+. Currently I have it setup:

PIR->Visonic->AM12->X10->CM12->Homeseer->CM12->X10->Light/X10 device

This works, but the delay is around 2-3 seconds form when PIR detects movement to when light comes on.

With this system, what is delay from activity on PIR to X10 device being switched?

Also, is the firmware upgradable via the USB incase of future updates?

Thanks!

Craig (UK)
