Anyone here who might have some info how to connect a RS232 device to a Raspberry Pi?

Not possible without extras. You'll need a board with RS232 port and some extra components to do that and put that on the GPIO socket.
Search and you'll find..
Another option is RS232 > USB > RPi.

Hmm. Why did I not think of this.. RS232 > USB > RPi.
I'm 1st going to give this a go. If no luck I will try to find a RS232 board.
