Any Ham radio amateurs here? (yagi) antenna for VHF Band

Post by Noel »

Do we have any ham radio amateurs here?

For my AIS home based receiver I would like to get two directional VHF antenna (+/-162.000 MHz)

I would like to use them in a vertical polarization and combine the two antennas to cover an area of 90 degrees.
Can this be done, and do ready build VHF yagi antennas for this frequency exist?

Hello Noel,

Yes this can be done with a Koppelbalk.
I have no experience with this but there are a few artikels on internet to found.
Here are some links
