Homewizard temperature/humidity based actions

Post by stipsa »

Hello everyone, hopefully this is the right forum to place the question. :)

I am using Homewizard with quite a number of peripherals and it is working quite nicely. The one thing I'm trying to achieve is to have a humidifier turned on if the humidity goes below 45%, but only in the time span between 9am and 9 pm.

The action setup seems fairly simple - you can set the sensor, the time span and the condition. The problem I've noticed is that on action start time, the Homewizard doesn't check the current value to act accordingly, it only sends the switch command if the event (46% -> 45%) happened *after* the action start time. In other words: if the humidity @9am is 40%, the humidifier will stay off. The switching will only work if the humidity was above 45% and goes below that value in the action time span. Needless to say, the humidity will never rise above 45% as the humidifier was never turned on.

I have submitted a ticket with no answer yet so I'm asking in the mean time if anyone else has the same problem and a possible solution?

thanks!
